What is amber?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. At that time, there was a relatively mild climate and the coniferous forest extended far into the Scandinavian region with trees up to 40 meters high. Contrary to its name, amber is petrified resin and not a stone. Amber feels very pleasant on the skin; it is light and not cold.
Which size should I choose?
Our amber bracelets can be worn as a bracelet or an anklet, entirely according to personal preference. On average, the baby bracelet (14 cm) fits up to 3 years old, but every child is built differently. It is best to measure it. This can be done by cutting a string to different lengths and trying them on. The children's bracelet can be worn for a long time, fitting both small and older children. This size bracelet is even ideal for adults with thin wrists.
Safety
General safety instruction: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewelry unsupervised. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing our amber necklaces.
